My kitchen for the next few weeks...I set it up in one of the bedrooms... the new kitchen will be much appreciated!!

The cats name is Wyatt (Wywy), he came with the house and he LOVES John.

In the last photo I think he looks like a chicken drumstick.

Moved out West on the weekend - love our new place, it's very, very cool. However it's pretty much minus the kitchen right now, so I'm cooking a lot in our slow cooker, but it'd be nice to have a meal or two out somewhere.

Our old place had a lot of great eateries within walking distance, where you could feed two people for under $25 no problemo. I haven't dined out very much in the West, apart from a few more expensive places, so I've taken to the net in order to find some cheap but good restaurants.

According to Google and the other sites that I looked at, it's pretty hard to eat cheaply anywhere other than takeaway joints. So I'm going to make my own little guide to eating out West - stay tuned!

My shoot for Saturday fell through unfortunately. Well... kind of fortunately, I got to hang out with Cory and Kara and eat homemade butter chicken and buy flannelette sheets and relax. Which was pretty awesome. Anyway. No new photo's this week sadly. So enjoy these old family photo's that I  didn't take, but that make me smile.

Auckland weather is funny, when I started this post it was windy/rainy/awful, now there's a blue sky - what is going on?!
