Rosie gets cuddles

My 12 year old cousin (again, it's a broad term when used in our family) was playing with my camera while I was having cuddles - not bad for a kid using manual focus for the first time eh! I have some serious competition...

Little Miss Ayla

I met my newest cousin today (ok, cousins is a broad term, but pretty much), she's absolutely gorgeous. Pleased to meet you Ayla! Haven't had a female addition in a while so you can help balance things out again! 

Just got my first review! Quite excited!

Made this face, but less angled I guess... spent today working in Otara, applying for future jobs, planning my life, looking for houses, grocery shopping, and cooking smoked fish stir fry. Life is fun. I like it.

I really like meeting nice, interesting people in the mornings and taking their photo. It sets me up for a good day.

Best Plain Loaf Ever

5 cups of self raising flour
1.5 cups warm water
1 tbsp yeast
1/2 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
1/3 cup oil
Sprinkle of sugar and salt

Combine ingredients well (over mixing is not usually a problem).
Put in hot water cupboard for at least one hour.
Knead for 10 minutes.
Return to hot water cupboard for an hour or so.
Preheat oven to 200c - bake bread for 30 minutes.

No photo sorry - ate it too fast. However I can vouch for how good it is as John reckons it's my "best plain loaf ever", and it's half eaten only a few hours after emerging from the oven.

Savory Muffins!

I make these whenever I need to clean out the fridge. These ones have self raising flour, eggs, oil, milk, tomato, avocado, pesto, and cheese. Delish. Rice balls again in the next few days - yay for easy munchables!
