Not a spectacular photo but that's over ridden by JOHN'S HAIR!!! Or lack of it. Best hair cut ever.

Also, for all you organic/gluten free/vegan folk who are sick of paying squillions for food in Grey Lynn/Kingsland/Ponsonby/etc, there is a fabulous little cafe that you might just love.

It's called the Tea Tree Cafe, it's not flash, and to be honest I probably never would have discovered it without it being recommended. We went on Friday afternoon around 4pm and there was a little market happening at the same time, which was full of people from the Earth Song village across the road.

We had a super yummy mushroom tart (delicious), coffee (John thought it was good), fresh squeezed juice (very good but I would leave out the beetroot next time). We had some fresh spring roles from the market but they were a bit average, next time I'd leave them off and have something else from the cafe.

Drinks are between $3.50-$4.50, food is under $5 or $6 from memory. It's very, very good. You should go! Here's their website. I'm enjoying feasting my way around Waitakere.
