Bread

I made Wholemeal Bread tonight - huge success!!!
The other huge success was my Foccacia Bread (recipe below), I might finally be getting the hang of this bread making thing...

3 c plain flour
1/2 tsp salt
7g packet of yeast (I used an 8g packet because that's how the Edmonds ones come)
1c lukewarm water
1/4c olive oil
Leaves of three rosemary sprigs
2 tsp sea salt

1. Mix together flour, salt, yeast, water, 2 tbsp of the oil, until it forms a dough. Cover and put in hot water cupboard for an hour.

2. Preheat oven to 200c.

3. Dough will have risen (if not, then your yeast is probably too old), punch it to get the air out. Tip onto a floured surface and knead for one to two minutes. Split into two (or 4) and roll out the dough until it's 1cm thick (approx, mine were a little more and it was fine) and lay them on a greased tray. Brush with remaining oil, sprinkle with rosemary, and use your fingers to make indents. Cover, and allow to rise for 20 minutes. (I left mine to rise, sitting on the top of the oven to get the added heat)

4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
