Sadly overexposed, but an awesome tradition.

The entire time that we have been in Colorado, wherever we've skied, people have related the same story. Today we finally got to experience it. If you ever go to Beaver Creek, you must make sure that you are at the bottom of the Gondola just before 3pm. At exactly 3 o'clock, the doors swing open and chefs carrying sliver platters, hand out chocolate chip cookies.

Apparently every year there is a bake off to pick the following season's recipe, I don't know about that, but the cookies we had today were straight out of the oven and oozing chocolate everywhere.

Sadly my exposure skills were massively lacking, but still - photographic proof that this did and does happen. If you're ever in the area you have to check it out, word is that if you are there for the 0830 lift, they hand out hot chocolates too!
